Thanks, everybody, for your prayers, thoughts, and candles. The travel agent who booked the trip for this bunch of students says she spoke to them last night and they had been moved somewhere safe. One of my nieces is in Cozumel. As of yesterday, she was trying desperately to leave. As I understand it from my SIL, there was no evacuation. As soon as they knew Wilma was coming, the islnad was locked down. There are no shelters. According to an elevation map I found, it's mostly barely above sea level.
